How much does it cost to rent The Shebeen?

Pints and Promises – $1499+: Our base rental includes full setup, a fully functioning Shebeen bar, and two draft lines ready to pour—perfect for casual or intimate gatherings.Proper Pour – $1699+: Everything in the base rental plus a professional bartender for four hours, with additional time available at $65/hour.Golden Tap – $1899+: A seamless hosting experience that includes full setup, a professional bartender, and our keg concierge service to source, pick up, and deliver your draft selections.Crown of Clover – $2499+: A premium Irish-inspired cocktail experience featuring full Shebeen rental, two kegs on tap, custom cocktails by Spritz., upgraded lighting and décor, and full-service bartending (alcohol included in CT only).*Final pricing depends on date, event space access, staffing, and event scope.**Complimentary delivery is included within 15 miles of Ridgefield, CT. Deliveries beyond 15 miles are subject to a transportation fee of $2.00 per mile (round trip).***Package rates vary for rentals on major holidays.

What is your payment and refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Deposit:  A $500 deposit is required to secure a particular date ($100 of the deposit is non-refundable).
Payment Due: Full payment is due 14 days prior to the event.

Cancellations:
More than 14 days before the event: Full refund.
Within 14 days: $500 non-refundable deposit will be retained. The remaining balance will be refunded.
Less than 2 days: No refund; full amount forfeited.

Renter is encouraged to confirm event details carefully to avoid cancellation fees.

How long is the rental period?

The standard rental period is approximately 24 hours. We’ll coordinate a convenient delivery time with you—typically late morning or early afternoon on the day of your event. We’ll then return around the same time the following day to collect the pub. If needed, same-day pickup is also available. Please note: for events held on commercial property with public access (such as a business parking lot), the pub must be removed the same day and cannot remain overnight.

How long does it take to setup The Shebeen?

The pub will generally be setup within 60 minutes of being parked in it’s final location.

What is included with The Shebeen?

Accepted Answer

The Shebeen is fully equipped to enhance your event experience. It includes a keg cooler with gas for your taps, along with a refrigerator to keep beer, wine, and canned drinks cold. For entertainment, you'll find a smart TV and a Bluetooth-enabled speaker system. Comfort is a priority, with air conditioning and a small electric fireplace heater available. The interior features bench seating for up to eight guests, plus two to three barstools depending on the season, and standing room for five to ten additional guests.

While the interior offers an intimate setting, The Shebeen is well-equipped for larger parties. The service window allows for seamless drink service to guests outside, and additional high-top tables around the exterior create a vibrant, pub-style atmosphere perfect for mingling with a crowd. Behind the bar, we provide an ice bucket and scoop with a 5-gallon capacity, as well as cleaning supplies—including all-purpose cleaner and paper towels. To complete the setup, we also supply beer coasters and napkins for your guests’ convenience.

Does the pub come with bar staff?

We recently partnered with Spritz Mobile Bar Services, CT's premier bartending company, offering custom cocktails and elevated moments for any occasion.  Spritz is familiar with all aspects of the pub setup (including beer tap system, HVAC, sound system and TV operation).  We are happy to coordinate services, just let us know on the contact form and we will be happy to accommodate!

Question 8

What is NOT included?

The Shebeen does not provide beer, wine, or other alcohol in accordance with CT state law. Bartenders, glassware, and ice are also not provided in the base package, however, we recently partnered with Spritz Mobile Bar Services for clients looking for a fully turn-key experience. If you are looking for a premium hands-off experience including hand-made ingredients, custom cocktails, and custom decor just let us know on the contact form and we will be happy to coordinate a truly unique experience.

Question 9

What size kegs should I purchase?

Our pub can accommodate 1/2, 1/4, or 1/6 barrel kegs (or a combination of two different sized kegs). There are two draft lines in the pub so two different draft beers (or a beer and a kegged cocktail) can be served at one time. We will provide everything you need to pull the perfect pint: gas, taps, and connections.

We recognize that many of our patrons would prefer to have a mixed drink on tap.  Contact us at info@theshebeenridgefield.com for a list of kegged cocktails we can provide at additional cost.

Question 10

What are your space/parking requirements?

To set up properly, the pub must be placed on a level surface with ample space not only for the structure itself but also for guests to enter and exit comfortably. A minimum area of 22 feet by 18 feet is needed with easy access. During the booking process, we’ll review your delivery address with you to confirm a suitable setup location.  The towing vehicle and pub, when hooked up, measures approximately 40 feet long.  As a general rule, driveways with narrow stone pillars, obstructions, masonry walls, or small uneven aprons are not suitable for pub setup.

Please note: The Shebeen must be parked entirely on privately owned property—it cannot be placed on streets, sidewalks, or other public areas.

Question 11

Can The Shebeen be set up on a grassy area for an outdoor event?

Accepted Answer

Yes, in some situations The Shebeen can be parked in a grassy area. However, it is essential that there is sufficient room to park the structure, and the setup crew must be confident that they will not damage the lawn or surrounding structures in doing so. We always recommend having a secondary location available to accommodate for inclement weather or if the grassy area is found to be insufficient upon setup.

Question 12

Do you need access to power?

Accepted Answer

Yes, The Shebeen requires access to a power source to operate the fridge, lighting, sound system, TV, and other features. Ideally, this should be a standard power supply from a nearby house or office. All that’s needed is one regular 20-amp outlet within 75 feet of the setup location. We’ll provide the necessary extension cord.

We also offer an on-site inverter generator, for a fee, where power is not accessible.

Can The Shebeen be rented during the winter months?

Accepted Answer

Yes! The Shebeen is fully heated, and we can’t think of anywhere we’d rather be on a cold evening than sitting in a warm, cozy Irish pub.
